BISMARCK -- A 43-year-old Seattle man is accused of bringing a woman to Bismarck to work as a prostitute, promising her heroin in exchange for her work.

Harold Nunnelly is charged with sexual servitude and possession of heroin with intent to deliver.

According to a police affidavit, Nunnelly convinced the 28-year-old woman to come with him to Bismarck and post ads on Backpage.com, a website commonly used to advertise prostitution. The woman allegedly told police Nunnelly promised to supply her with heroin, as she is an addict. She also told police that Nunnelly would take any money she earned.

Police encountered the woman while searching for a burglary suspect in Bismarck on May 10, according to the affidavit. In the apartment, police also allegedly found 22 grams of…
