It wasn’t too long ago, less than month actually, when Nintendo revealed a massive list of indie games that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Apparently it was just getting started. At its latest Nintendo Direct, the Japanese gaming giant shared an equally massive amount of news for the Switch again. But this time, to prove it hasn’t abandoned its other gaming handheld, it is also giving 3DS and 2DS owners some good news as well.

Zelda: Breathe of the Wild might be the Switch’s titular launch game, but there is little doubt that Mario is the icon heavyweight (figuratively speaking only). So it’s a bit disappointing that the Switch didn’t launch with a console-exclusive Mario title on Day One. But, the long wait is finally over. Well, almost. Super Mario Odyssey launches October 27 and Nintendo will also be launching Mario-theme Joy-Cons and carrying case for $379.99.

One of the games used to showcase the Switch’s muscle was none other than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. But like Mario, that game was a no show during launch. And just like Mario, it is really coming soon. But unlike Mario Odyssey, the wait is still a bit longer, with Skyrim launching only 17th November.

If you want a more indie feel, but still from a reputable developer, you can try out Square Enix’s Project Octopath Traveler, from the same people who made the hit JRPG Bravely Default. The game expertly mixes 2D character sprites and a beautifully crafted 3D world. And you don’t even have to wait long to try it out. You take the free demo for a spin right now. But don’t worry about the title, it’s not yet done either.

Speaking of JRPGs, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now has a date as well. Sadly, fans will have to wait until December 1 to get the game. That gives them time to save up for the $99.99 special edition that includes a sound selection CD and 220-page hard cover art book, as well as a $74.99 themed Switch Pro Controller.

Nintendo didn’t forget about 3DS system owners. While not as grand, 3DS system owners will at least have a new Mario game come November 10. Mario Party: The Top 100 is exactly what it sounds like, gather 100 of the best mini-games from Mario Party on consoles.

And, of course, there’s a new Pokemon game too. Following Pokemon Sun and Moon is, well, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which finally lets players customize how their characters look. …
