The new Audi SQ5 2017 unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show

The SQ5 is the fast version of the standard Q5 and has the same 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine that the S4, S5 and SQ5 has. 

This engine produces 354bhp and 396lb ft of torque and goes from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds.

Those who upgrade to the SQ5 Plus model gets a slight boost in power by 14bhp and 0.3 seconds faster from 0-62mph. 

Power is controlled and distributed to the road using the quattro all-wheel-drive system. 

Audi have opted fro the  eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, which is said to ensure smooth shifting. 

An optional sport differential will distribute torque between the rear wheel, to ensure better handling, can be selected for the car. 

Multiple driving modes will be available on the SQ5, so drivers can personalise the way the car handles. 

Optional air suspension allows the driver to adjust the height of the suspension to the specific driving situation.

Adaptive cruise control (ACC) including traffic jam assist Cross traffic assist rear, the exit warning system, collision avoidance assist and turn assist are all other driver safety systems that are available on the new SQ5.
