An American woman has gained nearly 2st – and looks incredible.

Mikayla Zazon decided to make a lifestyle change after she left high school.

Now, the 21-year-old is the fittest she’s ever been and she’s shared her story with her 28,100 Instagram followers.

In a recent post, which has been liked nearly 12,000 times, Mikayla explained: “When you are feeling down about your progress, it is important to remind yourself of how far you've come.

“Through the self doubt, though the heart break, through telling myself I was not enough, I overcame.”

This caption accompanied a picture of Mikayla three years ago versus now –and now she weighs 2st heavier than before.

Mikayla continued: “This was not a ’30 day weight loss challenge’, this was a complete 180 lifestyle change.

“It's been an emotional ride and those of you who went through it with me, you understand. I no longer wanted to just be smaller.

“I no longer wanted to fit someone else's mould of perfection. I wanted to be stronger. I wanted to unleash my strength that I was hiding from myself and others.”
