Fennington Fibres and Stags Estate Agents will both be new sponsors at this year's Westcountry Equine Fair, which takes place at Westpoint, Exeter later this year.

Somerset-based Fennington Fibres, the UK's leading supplier of Miscanthus horse bedding, will be sponsoring the breed village at the two-day show on December 2-3, which will show more than 15 different breeds and heavy horses.

Stags is the leading estate agents for Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset and has sponsored the Pony Club Horse and Hound show jumping challenge.

Stas has been around since 1874 and with its London office is able to extend the marketing of Westcountry property to those re-locating from London and the Home Counties

Both the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) and Redpost Equestrian are returning sponsors. BETA provide the popular equestrian knowledge zone, which features experts in lorinery, hat and body protector checks, nutrition, dentistry and more.

Redpost Equestrian sponsors the junior showjumping competition, another popular event with competitors from across the South West region.

The popular event, which is now in its 21st year, also features an equine shopping village, with more than 200 exhibiting companies selling a range of goods for both horse and rider – from clothing and homeware to tack, rugs and equipment.

The Devon Air Ambulance is this year's chosen charity.
