CROWN HEIGHTS — Two men were threatened and slashed by a pair of muggers who tried to steal one of their jackets, police said.

The men were on the corner of Empire Boulevard and Bedford Avenue at 3:15 p.m. on March 9 when the two suspects approached them and demanded one of the victim’s jacket vest.

When he refused to hand it over, the suspects cut both men multiple times on the hands, then fled the scene in a cab.

As they left, the car ran over one of the victim’s left foot; he was treated for his wounds at Kings County Hospital.

No arrest have been made in the assault and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
