Singer Michelle Williams, one-third of the female super group Destiny’s Child, will discuss her battles with depression Saturday afternoon at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood.

The “Change Your Mind, Change Your Life” program kicked off at 12:30 p.m.

Williams, now a gospel artist, has spoken candidly about her struggle with depression in recent years.

The Association of Mental Health and Wellness, based in Ronkonkoma, along with the Mental Health Association of Nassau County are sponsoring the event as part of national Mental Health Awareness Week.
