Three 15-year-olds face 82 charges after an alleged crime spree in Melbourne's north-west in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The trio allegedly forced their way into homes in Maribyrnong, Airport West, Hillside and Truganina between 2.45am and 5.25am, stealing mobile phones, an iPad, and luxury vehicles.

In one instance, a victim suffered an upper body injury.

The boys have been charged with offences including aggravated burglary, attempted burglary, home invasion, assault and theft of a motor vehicle.

The stolen cars included a Porsche Cayenne, VW Golf, Subaru Outback and two Audi Q7s.

The Porsche Cayenne has not been recovered.


Police are investigating whether the three boys, from Frankston, Wyndham and Footscray West, acted alone. They were remanded to face a children's court at a later date.

Sunday night's attacks come days after data was released showing a sharp rise in aggravated burglaries in Victoria.
